Voice & Video Recording Terms

What's Included With Your Purchase

Audio and video recording features are included with your My Faith Stories purchase at no additional charge. There is no separate subscription required to use them.

Recordings are stored securely and QR codes are printed in your finished book so family members can scan and hear or see your stories at any time.

Recording Storage & Hosting

Recording storage and hosting are included with your My Faith Stories purchase at no additional charge. We reserve the right to introduce a hosting fee in the future if operating costs require it. If we do:

• We will give you no less than 60 days written notice by email before any fee takes effect.
• You will always be able to download your recordings at any time, including before any fee applies.
• You will never be charged without explicit advance notice and the opportunity to opt out.

If a hosting fee is introduced and you choose not to pay, your recordings will enter a 30-day grace period before permanent deletion. We will send a reminder 7 days before deletion and a final notice 1 day before deletion.

QR Codes in Printed Books

QR codes printed in your book link to your hosted recordings. If hosting lapses and recordings are deleted, those QR codes will no longer work. We recommend downloading your recordings at any time to keep a permanent copy.

Your Recordings

You Own Your Recordings

You retain full ownership of any audio or video you record or upload. We do not use your recordings for any purpose other than providing this service to you.

Downloading Your Recordings

You may download your recordings at any time from within your account. We strongly recommend keeping local copies of anything irreplaceable.

Recording Limits

• Audio: Up to 3 minutes per recording. Accepted formats: MP3, M4A, WAV, AAC, OGG.
• Video: Up to 5 minutes per recording. Accepted formats: MP4, MOV, WebM.

We reserve the right to adjust these limits with reasonable notice.

Storage & Security

Audio recordings are stored on Cloudflare R2 servers in the United States. Video recordings are stored and delivered via Cloudflare Stream. Access is protected by signed, time-limited URLs. For more information see our Privacy Policy.

Consent to Record

By recording or uploading audio or video, you confirm that you have the legal right and permission to record and share the voice(s) and likeness(es) captured. This includes your own voice and face, and any other person who appears in a recording.

Prohibited Content

You agree not to upload recordings that contain any of the following:

• Nudity or sexually explicit or suggestive content
• Graphic violence or gore
• Hate speech or content that demeans or threatens individuals or groups based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
• Harassment, bullying, or threats directed at any person
• Content that exploits or endangers minors in any way
• Defamatory statements about any individual or organization
• Content that infringes on any third party's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
• Any content that violates applicable federal, state, or local law

Enforcement

We reserve the right to review, remove, or permanently delete any recording that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these terms. Repeated or severe violations may result in account termination without refund. We are not required to provide advance notice before removing content that violates these terms.

Disclaimer

Recording features are provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. In the event of a service disruption we will work promptly to restore access.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Arizona, USA. Disputes are subject to the arbitration and governing law provisions in our general Terms of Service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. We will notify you by email of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect.
