Audio Memories — Terms of Service

What Audio Memories Is

Audio Memories is a paid subscription feature that lets you record or upload audio for your journal questions, dedication, genealogy stories, and other story sections. Recordings are stored securely and a QR code is printed in your book so family members can scan and hear your voice.

Audio Memories is an optional add-on to My Faith Stories. It is not required to use the journal or produce a printed book.

Subscription & Billing

Plans

• Monthly: $5.00 per month, billed on the same calendar day each month.
• Annual: $45.00 per year, billed once per year on the anniversary of your subscription start date.

Automatic Renewal

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period using the payment method on file. You will receive a reminder before renewal. You may cancel at any time before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.

Taxes

Subscription fees are not subject to sales tax. You are responsible for any taxes applicable under the laws of your jurisdiction, if any.

Cancellation

How to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access to Audio Memories through that date.

Refunds

No partial refunds are issued for the remaining time in a canceled billing period. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact support@ourfaithlegacy.com within 30 days.

What Happens to Your Recordings

When your subscription ends, your recordings enter a 30-day grace period. During this time your recordings are retained and you may resubscribe to restore full access.

If you do not resubscribe within 30 days of your subscription ending, all recordings associated with your account are permanently deleted from our servers. This deletion cannot be undone.

We will send you an email reminder 7 days before deletion, and a final notice 1 day before deletion, at the address on your account.

QR Codes in Printed Books

QR codes printed in your book link to your audio recordings. If your subscription ends and recordings are deleted, those QR codes will no longer work. We recommend downloading your recordings (see below) before canceling if you want a permanent copy.

Your Recordings

You Own Your Recordings

You retain full ownership of any audio you record or upload. We do not use your recordings for any purpose other than providing the Audio Memories service to you.

Downloading Your Recordings

While your subscription is active, you may download your recordings at any time from within your account. We strongly recommend downloading copies before canceling your subscription.

Recording Limits

Each recording may be up to 5 minutes in length. Accepted file formats include MP3, M4A, WAV, AAC, and OGG. We reserve the right to adjust these limits with reasonable notice.

Storage & Security

Recordings are stored on Cloudflare R2 servers located in the United States. Access is protected by signed, time-limited URLs. We maintain a backup copy for redundancy. For more information see our Privacy Policy.

Voice Consent

By recording or uploading audio to Audio Memories, you confirm that you have the legal right and permission to record and share the voice(s) captured in each recording. This includes your own voice and any other person whose voice appears in a recording.

You agree not to upload recordings that contain content that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, or that violates any applicable law.

We reserve the right to remove recordings that violate these terms without notice or refund.

Legal

Disclaimer

The Audio Memories service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. In the event of a service disruption, our liability is limited to a prorated credit of your subscription fee for the affected period.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Arizona, USA. Disputes are subject to the arbitration and governing law provisions in our general Terms of Service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of Audio Memories after notice of changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify active subscribers by email of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect.
